Ellie's Bangoo Party

So Ellie's auntie (Gomo Esther and her fiance, Uncle Timmy aka Uncle Candy) were over for the weekend. Ellie was so excited! So as we were in the car, Ellie asked us if we wanted to go to her Bangoo Party. BTW, bangoo means fart in Korean. Don't ask me why, but she's obsessed with talking about farts and poops lately. So Uncle Candy said, "no we can't go to the bangoo party it will be too smelly." And Ellie responded, no it won't be smelly you just have to shake your but after you bangoo. Then she proceeded to shake her booty super fast saying, "see it doesn't smell anymore."
As you can see Elijah on the right, he used to be such a great eater when it came to solids. He used to open his mouth every time the spoon came to his mouth. One time I was feeding him homemade green beans, and he cringed with each bite, but still would open his mouth each time the spoon came to his mouth, until he finished the whole bowl. It's cause he didn't know any better at the time. But now, he just doesn't open his mouth... ever! It sucks cause now I have to force feed him. He used to whine every time the spoon would enter his mouth, and that's when I'd give him his next bite (while his mouth was open)... Now he just cries/whines with his mouth closed. Man, he's growing up already... Baby Elijah's too smart for his own good.
I also posted a pic of some designs I'm making for my co-worker's granddaughter. I can't believe it's back to work tomorrow. I start feeling overwhelmed each time I think about work, cause it's just soooo busy now! Just rushing home, getting things done at home, pumping while at work, etc... It's a lot of work!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for my students. The teachers started on Monday of this week, and the students started today. It's weird being back after 8 months of not working. I felt a little anxious and nervous this morning thinking, "Do I even remember how to teach?" haha. Overall it seems like I have a great bunch of kids. But you know how it goes, they're always on their best behavior the first few days of school. This is what I call the honeymoon stage...
I wore some heels (ones that I used to wear prior to Elijah), and man, my feet were killing me so bad that I could barely get to my car. I used to wear it with no problems and it was pretty comfortable, but my feet must have grown from the pregnancy. I don't think I could do it anymore.
So I get home and Ellie is dressed like this. When you leave it up to Dave, she's usually in mismatched clothes and notice she only has one sock on. hahaha. Look at her polka dotted pants with her lil' tank top. Oh my, maybe I need to leave out clothes for her from now on...
I still can't believe I'm back to teaching. It's a weird feeling!Things just got busier. When I get home, things are go go go until I go to bed, which has been late all week. From pumping right when I get home to cooking the adults' meal, then Ellie's meal (she's picky) to Elijah's solids, washing dishes/bottles, it is hectic. I feel like I'm on fast motion all the time. Looking forward to when they're older so I could have some down time!
